Foo Fighters Announce New Album & 2017 US Fall Tour

Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters revealed that their ninth LP, Concrete and Gold, will come out on Sept. 15. They also unveiled dates for a 2017 US Fall Tour.

Foo Fighters teamed up with producer Greg Kurstin (Adele, Sia, Pink) for the first time to create Concrete & Gold. The band recently released its first single “Run” and there are 10 more tracks on the LP.

Frontman Dave Grohl told Rolling Stone that it was all about having a different set of ideas than previous efforts.
“I think maybe Greg is the guy that we ask to be our producer because he’s never made a heavy rock record before and we’ve never worked with a pop producer,” he said, adding that they created something that brought together “our noise and Greg’s big brain and all of his sophisticated arrangements and composition.”
